CE Falk works through turn two in final practice at Langley Speedway July 22, 2017 for the 9th Annual Hampton Heat.

Hampton, VA – Thirty-one cars hit the slick pavement of Larry King Law’s Langley Speedway for their two timed qualifying laps. Philip Morris went out early in the session and held the provisional pole with a 16.016-second lap. Morris would be pushed to second with Nick Smith, Timothy Peters, and Matt Waltz rounded out the top five.

In the four support divisions here at Langley this weekend, Bradley Kilby, who has been on a hot streak here at Langley this summer earned the pole in the Cycle City Corps Legends with a lap of record of 22.145. Tommy Sweeney, winner the last time out, grabbed the pole with an 18.501. Tommy Jackson, Jr. snagged the pole in the thirteen-car Legends field.
