Hardin came down pit road after falling through the field and Oakley and Bruce Anderson also came down to try and make some adjustments. On lap-38 Causey was able to take the fifth position from Burke and he pulled into the pits a couple later to end his night. The caution came out for Hardin in an incident involing ony himself.

Halfway through their feature and he was out to almost a four second lead but the field would get bunched back up a few laps later for a caution with the wheel of Blaine Schumann separating from his vehicle.
