Cameron Murray qualified on the pole earlier in the afternoon for the 15-lap INEX Bandolero feature at East Carolina Motor Speedway. Murray would lead the first four laps at the 3/8-mile high-banked oval. Ethan Johnson, who won on opening night, stayed tight in Murray’s tire tracks.

As the field exited turn two Murray and Johnson made contact after Johnson took a bold peak to the bottom of the track. Murray would find himself perpendicular to the nose of Johnson on corner exit. Ethan, backed out of the throttle avoiding a complete spin and allowed Murray to gather things back up. However, this allowed for both Matthew Gurganus and Parker Fraizer to close the gap.

So much so it was a three-way battle going into turn three where Gurganus found himself on top of the leader board on lap five. Ethan Johnson would fall back to the second position with Cameron Murray right behind him. Gurganus had the honor of leading this race for about five laps before Ethan Johnson took the top spot back from Gurganus with a bit of a bump and run move out of turn four.

That was all Ethan needed to seal the deal on this one and drove away for his second consecutive victory at East Carolina. Cameron Murray and Parker Fraizer looked to apply some pressure on Gurganus for the second position, however, they would run out of laps and have to settle for a third and fourth place finish. Tyler Roberson would round out the top five.
