J2 PerformanceMOORESVILLE, N.C. – J2 Performance is proud to announce the organization will expand to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East for the 2016 season and beyond. Owned and operated by 2014 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards champion crew chief Jamie Jones, J2 Performance has spent the last three years mentoring young drivers at local short tracks across the southeast, in addition to building late model chassis and suspension components.

“I’m very excited J2 Performance will be entering the K&N Pro Series East next season,” said Jones, also known as “JJ” in the motorsports community. “I have spent 35 plus years working towards this day and I know my team will be able to provide not only top notch equipment and crew members but also a place for young kids to grow behind the wheel before entering one of the three national series.”

With a knack for helping young drivers get the most out of their talent in the cockpit, while also mentoring them away from the track, Jones will do just that as owner and crew chief next season. Amongst 35 years of NASCAR and ARCA experience, the veteran leader has worked with champions Frank Kimmel, Johnny Benson, James Buescher and Mason Mitchell, current Sprint Cup Series driver Kasey Kahne, experienced drivers David Starr and Terry Cook, as well as youthful drivers Brandon Whitt, Jesse Little and Austin Wayne Self.

J2 Performance is actively pursuing drivers and partners for the 2016 season. For more information on how you can join J2 Performance in their debut year, please contact owner Jamie Jones by phone at 704-277-9045 or by email at j2performance@aol.com.
