Robersonville, NC – The deeper we get into the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series schedule, the deeper the car counts get at the high banked 3/8 mile oval they call East Carolina Motor Speedway. Nineteen Late Models took the green flag last week as the track hosted twin 50-lap features. Jeff Shiflett & Dylan Ward found them selves in victory lane after what I am told was a very interesting night!

LMSC were not the only division boasting good numbers, with May 30th being the first race in the UCAR Triple Crown series between ECMS and SNMP, seventeen UCARS took to the track where again we saw two separate winners – Lynn Waller & Ronnie Jones.

Well, its that time of the week again folks, and yes East Carolina Motor Speedway is opening its gates up once again to the drivers and fans! Gates will open for fans and drivers right around 2:00 PM EDT – for ticket prices head over to www.ecspeedway.com for more details. Couple big names making their debut this weekend. Robbie Allison, son of late NASCAR driver Davey Allison, will make his first laps around the track in a UCAR. Allison was the guest of honor this week on ECMS weekly radio program, talking everything from family history to his future in motorsports!

Greg Edwards… Yes you have read that right! 2014 Langley Speedway track champion has teamed up with car owner/driver J.T. Jackson to field the #67 LMSC this weekend at ECMS. With Edwards sitting 10th in national points it only makes sense for Edwards to try is luck on the road. After Jackson spent a couple weeks shaking the car down and having another veteran driver Woody Howard perform as well as he did last week at Langley, Jackson has decided to play the role of “car owner” just a bit more.

Make sure to join us on Twitter later this evening – starting at about 4:30 PM EDT – for LIVE up to the minute coverage! We will work to bring you both time laps from the LMSC division as well as work on getting you the five fastest cars in the support divisions as well.
