2015 Ronnie Barnette Memorial 200 Schedule

Saturday= December 5, 2015 Race Order Bando 15 – U-Car 30 – Street Stock 30 – Late Model 200

7:00am = Sign-in opens.

7:30am = Gates open. All teams will mount qualifying and Lap 125 break tires. These tires will remain in the tire impound area.

  • All teams should have their Tread Width and Wheel Base checked. This will be checked for qualifying
  • LMSC Inspectors will visit each LMSC pit area for teams to pull a pill to set the qualifying order

8:30am – 9:00am = Mandatory All Officials-LMSC-Street Stock-U-Car-Bando Drivers/Crew Chief meeting at the flag pole

9:15am – 10:30am = LMSC Open practice.

  • There will not be a schedule break during this practice
  • All teams should have their Tread Width and Wheel Base checked. This will be checked for qualifying

10:30am = Release LMCS qualifying tires to each teams pit area. (Tires may be purged)

10:40am – 11:10am = U-Car Open practice/Qualifying (fastest practice time will set the field for the feature event)

11:15am – 11:45am = Street Stock Open practice/Qualifying (fastest practice time will set the field for the feature event)

11:50am – 12:15pm = Bando Open practice (each team will draw for qualifying and this will determine the starting positions)

11:15am = ALL LMSC WORK IS COMPLETE AND CARS MUST BACK OUT OF THEIR PIT AREA and proceed to the technical inspection area. All cars will qualify race ready. Air pressure can be adjusted on the qualifying line. (Air can be let out only)

12:15pm – 1:00pm = LMSC qualifying will begin.

  • 3 laps = scuff-green-white-checkered
  • All cars will be impounded in your pit stall
  • No one is allowed to the car at this time and car will remain on the ground

Approx.1:10pm – Opening Ceremonies

Approx. 1:30pm – 1:50pm = Racing begins for the Bando’s – 15 laps (20 minute time limit) TOP 5 FINISHERS TO TECH

Approx. 2:00pm – 2:30pm = Racing begins for the U-Cars – 30 laps (30 minute time limit) TOP 5 FINISHERS TO TECH

Approx. 2:40pm – 3:10pm = Racing begins for the Street Stock – 30 laps (30 minute time limit) TOP 5 FINISHERS TO TECH

Approx. 3:20pm – 3:30pm = LMSC Driver introduction from pit road.

Approx.3:30pm = The LMSC 200 will begin. Teams must start the event on the same 4 tires used in qualifying. There will be a competition caution at lap 125 for 15 minutes. During the competition caution fuel will be added and 2 tires will be changed with 2 new sticker tires purchased at this events. Tire procedures and tire change penalties will be covered at the drivers meeting.

Special Note: This is a minimum 6 tire, 15 gallons of 110 Sunoco fuel race. These must be purchased at this event.

LMSC Race Procedure

  • 200 Lap event – Caution laps WILL NOT COUNT
  • CONE and FREE PASS rules will be in effect may result in double file restarts after each caution.
  • Cone eligibility: Lead lap cars. You cannot take the cone if you are lapped, involved in the caution, pitting or serving a penalty or the Free Pass
  • 2015 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model Stock Car Rules in place for this event
  • Spotter must be in designated area and be clearly marked with associated car number
  • Tires may have air let out, but none added (only air pressure gauge allowed onto grid, no other tools)
  • In case of a caution, cars involved will blend back into line, then placed into position for restart
  • It is the Race Directors discretion who is involved in the caution and if there is any need for penalty for actions taken on the track
  • Only fully flat tires will be allowed to be changed before the designated competition Caution
  • Any cars attempting to pit under caution cannot pass the Lead Car, but are allowed to drop to the bottom of the race surface and drive up even to the Lead car
  • At lap 125 a competition caution will be displayed, at this time all scoring will be stopped. Tire/Fuel and tire penalty to be covered at this point
  • All cars will be and brought to pit road when directed too by race control
  • Teams may not touch the cars until given a signal by officials (to be determined)
  • Once the teams are given the signal it will start a 15 minute period to add 2 tires / fuel and make adjustments
  • A signal at 1 minute, 30 seconds and a final countdown of 10 seconds will end all adjustments
  • At this time the field will be aligned in running order prior to the competition caution(lead lap cars in the front and lapped cars behind them) and the race will be re-started with 75 laps to go
  • Post-race the top 3 drivers will report to the victory lane on the front stretch, teams may take tire/rotor temps but make no adjustments or alteration to the cars (only air pressure gauge and temp gauges are allowed)
  • No crew members will be allowed inside the cars and no equipment from inside the cars will be allowed to leave the car’s interior and no items may be placed in the car or removed from the car
  • All cars for this event are subject to post race inspection
  • Post-race inspection description and details are left to the discretion of the Competition Director
