Gearing Up For Another Weekend Double Header!
Okay race fans we have made it to the middle of the week, which means race day is right around the corner! For us this means another exciting double-header weekend! We will take to the ever so famous, well at least for my family, Route 58 as she will lead us to our two playgrounds this weekend. Friday evening we will pack up and head south to Robersonville, North Carolina for East Carolina Motor Speedway’s third race of their new season under NASCAR. Build Tough Builders has come on board for this race and is offering an extra $3,000 to the winner of the Build Tough 125 LMSC race. Think you have what it takes to tame this high back tri-oval? Make sure you pack up your stuff early and come battle with the likes of 2013 National Points runner-up & 2013 Southern National track champion Deac McCaskill, defending race winner Dillon Basset, as well as other local drivers!
Not to mention the extra $327 dollars for the winner of the 50 lap Limited Late Model race! Two weeks ago we saw some of the best LLM action of the year as a three-way battle for the lead took place from flag to flag! Hopefully we will see the return of Louis White and Rusty Daniels! We have confirmed one driver who will be there, the 77 of Garrett Marchant is skied for the opportunity to win a bonus from Build Tough Builders, and with a solid Top 5 finish two weeks ago he will be right there in the hunt.
As I failed to do a better job at pointing this out in the past the remaining support divisions of ECMS (Street Stocks, Mini Stocks, UCARS) have seen constant growth in their divisions as more teams finish up there projects. It goes without saying you guys will show up and put on an incredible show for the fans, without you guys NASCAR racing on Friday nights would be darn near impossible.
We will then had back home for the night try to get as much rest as possible before hitting Route 58 one more time in route to South Boston Motor Speedway. South Boston will play host to race number three in our special touring series. We will look to bring you coverage of the race LIVE on Twitter. We will do our best to get the information for all the divisions running that evening! On tap for the Charles Anderson Lawn Care Presents Italian Delight Family Restaurant night at the races are your Late Model Stocks for 150, Limited’s for 50 laps, Pure Stock’s are running 30 laps, the Hornets for 15, and the Modified’s for a 50 lap feature. Make sure to check back in for highlights, and special guest during our trip out west!
